New standards for coming for children services

New national minimum standards for children's homes, fostering service providers and adoption services will be published in November Education Under Secretary Tim Loughton said in a parliamentary answer on 26 Jul.
He was asked when he expects to publish his conclusions from his predecessor Department's consultation on the draft minimum standards for children's homes.
Mr Loughton said: "The intention is to publish revised national minimum standards for children's homes, fostering service providers and adoption services together, with a summary of conclusions reached in the light of the consultation on the draft standards, in November 2010."
